I met Miss Jerri when I started volunteering at the Camp Smith Stables on Oahu around 1983. I was stationed at KMCAS. Miss Jerri was an incredible woman. So fun to be around and work with. Caring for the horses. The fun times we had playing "cowboy polo" and other games in the arena. The Dinner Rides we did and guiding trail rides. I miss her very much.

Yes, the Cowboy Polo! An activity she took to her other duty assignments with U.S. Marines as well! There were lessons to be learned and skills honed playing broom polo on the horses. U.S. Marines Playing Cowboy Polo
